Professor of Architectural and Urban Computing at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Professor Penn is the former Dean of The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment. He a Chief Scientific Advisor to the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government, United Kingdom, and Chair of Space Syntax Ltd., which studies the effects of spatial design on aspects of social, organizational and economic performance of buildings and urban areas.
